Investors are welcome to use CSI indices and CSI-managed indices (including but not limited to Shanghai Stock Exchange indices). Before distributing CSI indices quotations or launching index-related products, index users shall obtain corresponding licenses from CSI.
For launching indexing investment products (including but not limited to full replication or index enhancement types) which track CSI indices or CSI-managed indices, index users shall obtain licenses from CSI before submitting applications to regulators.
Index users who plan to launch ETFs tracking CSI indices or CSI-managed indices on Shanghai Stock Exchange or Shenzhen Stock exchange shall obtain licenses from CSI after having reached initial understanding with the exchanges.
For compiling derivative indices based on CSI indices or CSI-managed indices, compilers shall obtain licenses from CSI in advance.
For launching investment products which are benchmarked to CSI indices or CSI-managed indices, index users shall obtain licenses from CSI before submitting applications to regulators.
For distributing or re-distributing quotations (including real-time data and delayed data) of CSI indices or CSI-managed indices, index users shall obtain licenses from CSI in advance.
